Choosing the right material is the basis of durability and safety. Environment (humidity, salt spray, heat, load) decides material + finish.

Selection Tips
- Dry indoor: zinc-plated carbon steel balances cost and basic rust proofing.
- Outdoor / coastal: 304 first; near sea or chemical, choose 316; marine, 2205.
- Structural load: high-strength alloy steel (10.9 / 12.9 gr) with proper finish.
- Conductive / decorative: brass, copper or natural stainless.
