2026-08-20
Compiled by JIALI Industrial (164.hk) — a Hong Kong fastener supplier specialising in screws, bolts, nuts and selection know-how.
Grade meaning
Bolt grade is shown by dot-separated numbers such as 8.8, 10.9, 12.9. Higher means greater tensile and yield strength.
How to choose
General machinery: 8.8 gr; structural, automotive, engineering: 10.9 gr; heavy load and high stress: 12.9 gr.
Notes
High-strength bolts need specified torque; do not mix with lower-grade nuts. Verify torque on critical joints.
